Mill Dene Garden

Hidden in the Cotswolds, this garden is set around a water-mill, stream and millpond. In a tiny, steep valley, and designed for pure escapism visitors will discover Horticultural skill, fun, cats and kingfishers make this garden enchanting .

Mill Dene Garden

The owners, Barry and Wendy Dare have created this garden over the years. It is very personal and unusual, with a grotto on the stream, a rose walk, and a cricket lawn with its own tiny Pavilion. Right at the top of this steep sided valley is the herb garden which has the Church as a back drop. Planted over an old Saxon graveyard this garden has a monastic feel to it.

There are seats everywhere from which to enjoy the many views over the Cotswolds.

Open from April to end of October, Tuesdays to Fridays, 10am to 5pm. Last entry 4pm.
Plant sales, A garden related shop, Light lunches and cream teas are served in the Garden Room.
