Our property retains its olde world charm despite being in an area that is constantly being modernised.  It has been family run for over 40 years and benefits from having friendly and helpful staff

The Little Thatch Hotel is just 3 miles from Gloucester and 5 minutes’ drive off the M5 motorway. It offers free WiFi, free private parking and en suite rooms with Freeview TVs. Originally built in 1351, it notes King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn as former guests. The bar retains many original features including fantastic wooden beams. The King Henry Bar serves a good selection of local ales and is perfect for an informal meal. For a more intimate setting the home cooked menu is also served in the private dining area. The Anne Boleyn Restaurant is a perfect setting for the buffet breakfast, with the option of a full English breakfast available at an extra cost. The Gloucester Quays and Docks are within a 5-minute drive from the hotel providing shopping, cinema and dining options. The bus stop opposite the hotel provides regular transport to Gloucester City Centre. From the bus station here, you can arrange transport to Cheltenham and the Cotswolds or the Forest of Dean
